We believe you should know what you're paying for. HouseControl is not a one-time purchase, but a service that needs to run, be secured, and maintained every day. These ongoing costs are included in every package:
Own server in an EU data center — no cloud outside of GDPR. Runs 24/7, even when no one is logged in.
Database and all documents are backed up daily, stored with multiple redundancy, and the restoration path is regularly tested — not just assumed.
Encrypted connections, two-factor protection, bot defense, and ongoing security updates. Security vulnerabilities in libraries are continuously checked and closed.
Every notification, invitation, and email response runs through a paid mail server — necessary so that your messages don't end up in spam.
Automatic translation into six languages and AI text improvement are billed per character. Both run via EU endpoints. Every package includes a fair allowance.
New features, bug fixes, and support don’t come by themselves. A portion of the price funds the ongoing work on the product.
Text improvement, translation and support AI run via the EU endpoints of Google Cloud. Content is not used to train AI models.
