Right of withdrawal for consumers

This right of withdrawal applies to consumers as defined by § 1 KSchG, i.e., natural persons who enter into a subscription with HouseControl.at for a purpose that can predominantly be attributed neither to their commercial nor their independent professional activity — for example, a private individual who privately manages their own small residential house. If you enter into the contract as an entrepreneur as defined by the UGB, this right of withdrawal does not apply.

Cancellation policy

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without stating any reasons.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us

inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or e-mail). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in no event will you incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

If you have requested that the service begin during the withdrawal period, you must pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of services already rendered up to the point in time at which you inform us of the exercise of the right of withdrawal concerning this contract, compared to the total scope of services provided for in the contract.

Premature expiration of the right of withdrawal

Your right of withdrawal expires prematurely if we have fully performed the service and only began performing the service after you gave your express consent during checkout and simultaneously confirmed your awareness that you lose your right of withdrawal upon full performance of the contract by us.
